Please join us for an hour-long informative discussion that will explore Oklahoma’s Citizen Initiative Petition process and potential changes to the process.
Panelists are Oklahoma Representative Amanda Swope, Cole Allen (Oklahoma Policy Institute), and Andy Moore (Let’s Fix This). Panel moderator will be David Blatt, PhD, a professor at OU-Tulsa.
2023 Call for Questions
The League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa is currently accepting questions for Board of Education and Municipal candidates for the 2023 Primary Election on February 14, 2023.
Call to Action: VRAA
In anticipation of the August 24 vote on the VRAA and in partnership with our partners, the League has identified certain House member targets who we want to put extra pressure on and encourage to vote yes on the bill. To this end, we have drafted a template letter we would love for the local leagues who reside in these representative districts to send to them.
House District 73 Candidate Forum
The League will host a candidate forum for the open seat in State House District 73. HD73 contains downtown Tulsa and much of North Tulsa (see map).
