At this informational session, League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa will share its position on criminal justice reform in Oklahoma after the completion of a two-year study that was approved by league members this summer. After sharing the position, a panel will speak on the current state of criminal justice in our state and city, plus reflect on the League’s findings and what changes need to be made.
Together Oklahoma is holding an online meeting for all affinity groups for a recap of the 2023 legislative session, including updates from OK Policy analysts with Q&A time. Discussion on future focus along will round out the meeting.
Join Together Oklahoma in this virtual meeting that will focus on issues that can help make Oklahoma communities safer, including criminal justice reforms. There will be discussion on legislation Together Oklahoma is tracking this session and how our voices can be used to advocate for the policies we want to see in Oklahoma.

On October 27th, the Tulsa League is presenting a forum on Improving the Incarceration Experience for Women. Confirmed guest panelist includes Kris Steele (TEEM) and Janay Clougherty (Tulsa County Public Defenders) with additional guests to be announced. The webinar will be moderated by Stephanie Henson (LWVOK). This event is part of the LWVOK State Study Series on Criminal Justice in Oklahoma.
