The Safe Communities Affinity Group is for advocates of criminal justice reform in Oklahoma. This statewide group meets online regularly in the spring to discuss legislation, share resources, and plan community outreach.
A Panel Discussion: Criminal Justice and Impacts on Women Voters
At this informational session, League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa will share its position on criminal justice reform in Oklahoma after the completion of a two-year study that was approved by league members this summer. After sharing the position, a panel will speak on the current state of criminal justice in our state and city, plus reflect on the League’s findings and what changes need to be made.
COMMUNITY: All-Affinity Group Meeting
Together Oklahoma is holding an online meeting for all affinity groups for a recap of the current legislative session, including updates from OK Policy analysts with Q&A time. Discussion on future focus along will round out the meeting.
