The League’s voter guides for the February 14 school board elections and the Oklahoma House District 71 special election are now online.
In addition to responses from candidates, the voter guides include information on Voter ID requirements and getting absentee ballots.
School Board Elections
There will be elections for offices in the following school districts shown below:
Tulsa School Board, District 5
Skiatook School Board, Office 1
Berryhill School Board, Office 2
House District 71 Special Election
Representative Dan Sullivan resigned from House District 7 in December 2011. A special election was called to fill this seat.
The primary election will be held Tuesday, February 14 and the general election will be Tuesday, April 3.
A primary election allows voters to choose which candidates will represent each party in the general election. Voters must be registered as either a Democrat or Republican to vote in their party primary; they will vote only for members of their own party.
