The forum, with candidates Nathan Dahm and Tim Wright, will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 14, at the Broken Arrow Library, 300 W. Broadway.

The winner of the Republican Primary Runoff Election  on August 28 will be the new senator for Oklahoma District 33.

All residents of Oklahoma  Senate District 33, a newly redistricted seat, are encouraged to attend.  The winner of the run-off will become the new State Senator for SD33 which includes most of Broken Arrow and far-South Tulsa County, as well as parts of Southeast Tulsa.

Because Oklahoma is a closed primary state, this runoff election will be for registered Republicans only.  However, all voters in District 33 are invited and will be able to meet the candidates and ask questions.  In addition to opening statements from candidates Nathan Dahm and Tim Wright, most of the event will be devoted to answering written questions submitted by the audience.

Voters can also read the candidates’ answers to questions posed by the Tulsa League of Women Voters in its nonpartisan, information-packed guide to all upcoming Tulsa-area run-off elections. The guide can be accessed either online at lwvtulsa.org/publications or through our national interactive site Vote411.org.
