Free Ride Resources for Early Voting

Shailaja Marion Announcement

The League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa is proud to announce partnerships with Tulsa Transit and Tulsa Voter Van to help expand access to those taking advantage of in-person early voting.

EARLY VOTING
Early voting is technically in-person absentee voting. Voters are required to complete an application on-site prior to casting their ballot.

For the November 3, 2020 election, early voting takes place as follows:

Location
ONEOK Field, 201 N. Elgin Ave, Tulsa, Oklahoma [view map]

Times

Please note that ONEOK Field will NOT be accepting already completed absentee ballots. Those will need to be dropped off at the County Election Board during business hours. It is highly advised at this point to drop your absentee ballot off in person before 5pm on Monday, November 2, 2020.

TULSA TRANSIT
Through a Vote Early Day grant from MTV, The League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa is able to subsidize FREE RIDES on ALL fixed daytime routes for the three days of early voting.

Voters should check the Tulsa Transit (tulsatransit.org) Trip Planner or download the Tulsa Transit GoPass app to determine the closest bus stops and scheduled stops near their home.

TULSA VOTER VAN
Through these grant monies awarded, we are also proud to help expand the driver pool for Tulsa Voter Van, a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping voters on the last mile of voting.

To set up a free ride with Tulsa Voter Van, voters can call or text (918) 200-9153 or email info@tulsavotervan.com. Rider information can be found at their website (tulsavotervan.com).
