Even with winter weather making it difficult to find some polling places, voter turnout was 11.21% of registered voters.
Summary of Unofficial Election Results 2011 Annual School Board Elections
Update, 1 p.m. Feb. 9, 2011 —Three local races didn’t produce the 50% margin required to declare a winner in Tuesday’s elections. This will trigger a runoff election for voters in Zone 2 of the Tulsa Technology Center, Broken Arrow and Skiatook . Run-off elections will be on Tuesday, April 5.
- Tulsa Technology Center School Board — Drew Diamond received 42.54% of the votes and Rick Kibbe received 41.67% of the votes.
- Broken Arrow — Richard Parker received 46.98% of the votes and Steve Allen received 44.40%.
- Skiatook — Mile Mullins received 46.46% of the votes and Linda Loftis received 40.29%
