September 19 is National Voter Registration Day 2023

League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa to hold voter registration drives for National Voter Registration Day

TULSA—The League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa will join thousands of organizations across the country to celebrate National Voter Registration Day with a voter registration drive at all four Tulsa Community College campuses on Sept. 19.

One in four Americans either are not registered to vote or do not know whether they are registered to vote, according to post-2020 election Census data. LWV Metropolitan Tulsa aims to get Tulsa County residents registered and vote ready ahead of local elections and next year’s presidential and general election.

  • Tulsa Community College – Metro Campus (909 S Boston Ave): 9 AM – 1 PM
  • Tulsa Community College – Southeast Campus (10300 E 81st St): 9 AM – 1 PM
  • Tulsa Community College – Northeast Campus (3727 E Apache St): 9 – 11 AM
  • Tulsa Community College – West Campus (7505 W 41st St): 9 – 11 AM

In June, Oklahoma became the 41st state to offer online voter registration. The League expects the state to see an increase in voter registration and higher turnout at the polls as a result.
