The first step is to make sure you are a registered voter in Oklahoma! You can check your registration status at the state election board's OK Voter Portal using your name and date of birth.

If you need to register for the first time, you can do so in several ways:

    • Download a voter registration form (printer required)
    • Use the OK Voter Portal Registration Wizard (printer required)
    • Pick up voter registration form at local tag agencies or from the League office Monday - Friday,  9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The OK Voter Portal can also be used to update your voter registration in the following circumstances:

    • Change Political Affiliation
    • Change residential address within current county
    • Change my residence address to another county
    • Change mailing address
Deadline to register to vote or update your current voter registration is FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.
Deadline to request an absentee ballot is MONDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. 

Frequently Asked Questions

 

I requested an absentee ballot... Can I still vote on election day?
If you did not complete your absentee ballot, you can still vote on Election Day!
You will be requested to sign an affidavit at the polling location stating you did not complete the absentee ballot.
My name isn't on the voter roll...Do I still get to vote?
Don't worry! Work with your precinct officials to help figure things out.
Your precinct officials will do their best to find out what is going on. If nothing else, you are always able to vote a provisional ballot.
My absentee ballot is ready to go...Can I deliver it in person?
That depends on the color of your affidavit envelope!
Standard (yellow affidavit) absentee ballots can be mailed OR dropped off at the county election board prior to the election. Those with a pink affidavit envelope must return their ballots by US mail or private mail service with delivery documentation.
My affidavit envelope is yellow...Do I need to get it notarized?
This is the "standard" absentee ballot.

My affidavit envelope is pink...Do I need to get it notarized?
This absentee ballot is for "physically incapacitated" voters.

My absentee ballot is ready to go...Can I drop it off at the early voting location?
No, it will not be accepted at the early voting location!
However, you do have the option to drop it off in-person at the county election board during their standard business hours all the way up to the day prior to the election.
