The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that:
- Encourages informed and active participation in government;
- Works to increase understanding of major public policy issues; and
- Influences public policy through education and advocacy.
The League of Women Voters works at the local, state and national levels. Our work is guided by the principles of representative government as outlined in the United States Constitution which helps define the League’s standards for individual rights and the proper role of government.
