Background on the Rally

The Coalition for Medicaid Expansion (CFME) is sponsoring a Rally at the Oklahoma State Capitol in response to Governor Fallin’s decision to reject Medicaid Expansion for Oklahoma. The Rally will take place on Tuesday, February 5th from Noon to 1:30pm on the North Steps of the State Capitol. Speakers are  lined up from the health industry, social welfare, the faith community and state elected officials. There will be testimonials from citizens who are directly impacted because of the Governor’s decision to reject the expansion.

The League supports Health Care for All

The League of Women Voters has a long history of supporting universal health care.  Read more about the League’s work here.  Expansion of Medicaid is an important opportunity to provide basic health care for more Oklahomans, especially those with limited incomes.
