DESCRIPTION:**TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT FOR THE UPCOMING ELECTION. **\nInformation on Absentee Ballot voting can be found HERE. It is quick, easy, and there’s no requirement for requesting to vote by absentee ballot! The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot to be mailed to you is always 5 p.m. on the third Monday (15 days) prior to the election.\nNOTE: The League recommends sending in your completed absentee ballot 7-10 prior to the election to insure timely deliver. For those requesting absentee ballots on or near the deadline, the League recommends dropping off the completed ballot directly with your county election board.\nThe deadline to deliver a completed standard absentee ballot in person is 5 p.m. the day PRIOR to the election. Please remember to bring a state-issued photo I.D. with you to your County Election Board.\nAbsentee ballots returned by mail or private delivery service must be received by your County Election Board by 7 p.m. (CST) on Election Day to be counted.\n\nEarly voting is also available.
