At the 2011 LWV of Oklahoma Convention, delegates supported a two-year study of water issues in Oklahoma to determine whether or not the current position on water is adequate or needs to be updated and revised.

Instant Runoff Voting: A Possible State Election Reform
At the 2009 LWV of Oklahoma Convention, delegates supported a two-year study of Instant Runoff Voting as a possible means of reforming statewide elections. The results of the study and a LWV of Oklahoma position paper will be available by the end of December, 2011.
What is Instant Runoff Voting (IRV)?
IRV is a voting system for single-winner elections that guarantees majority winners in a single round of voting. It eliminates run-off elections.
